Obituary of Esther A. Myers

Esther A. Myers Clinton Esther A. Rouillier Myers, 92, of Altera Villas passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Kirkland on August 6, 1918, Esther is the daughter of the late Jess and Mable (Fosdick) Rouillier. She married Harold Myers on February 2, 1942 in St. Mary's Church, Clinton. Harold passed away on December 26, 2001. Esther was a long-time member of St. Mary's Church. She attended Clinton High School and worked as a caregiver for over 40 years at the Lutheran Home in Clinton. She also enjoyed spending time watching birds and gardening. Esther is survived by her four children and their spouses, Anne and Bill Grove, Centerville, OH, Frances and Joseph Redmond, West Melbourne, FL, Harold J. Myers and Bill Simpler, Boston, MA, and David and Amy Myers, Utica, NY; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, many relatives, and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 4 p.m. at the Owens- Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations are made in Esther's name to Faxton-St. Luke's Stroke Center, New Hartford, NY, 13413.
