Aunt Esther and Uncle Harold would come over to visit Ma and there would always be laughter and jokes and fun when they were around. They also thought of bringing a doll for Ellie or bringing over doughnuts. They would share stories for hours on end and everyone always had a great time when they were around.

Jess Rouillier (James F. Rouillier), the Third, as I believe he was called in the family, was my husband. I remember meeting Esther and Harold when I first started going with Jess (my Jess). I think we used to park in their yard when we went to the hockey games. I didn't see them much, but Joan (Jess' sister) and I were just talking about Esther last week. We were saying we should go visit her. As things, go, we were too late. My condolances to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It is so sad, not only to lose a family member, but all those memories and family stories are gone as well. Take care, and please know that you are in my prayers.

Hal,
My condolences to you and Bill. While I did not have the pleasure of meeting your Mom, it seems she lived a long life and she did a pretty good job raising you. I am sure you will have lots of memories to comfort you.

As we approach the holidays without our beloved Aunt Esther, I cry selfishly for those of us missing her but rejoice internally that she is now at peace with her husband and siblings (probably partying harder that all of us in the younger generation!!)My love to you always Aunt Esther aka Adopted mom.
