So very sorry to hear of Mr. Meade's passing. My Dad was on the 3rd floor as well, he's been gone now 4 yrs. Mr. Meade was always very nice to me and to my Dad. Will miss his smiling face.

I had the pleasure of tending to Jimmy when I worked at Rome Hospital on the Bartlett Wing ,, he never ceased to amaze me with his great outlook on life and reasoning everything out ,, he loved to play practical jokes and he usually got away with them!! Jimmy was a joy to be around, he NEVER complained NEVER,,even afflicted he saw all the good there was in his life,, I offer my sincere condolences to all of his family,,I bet he is lighting up ONE heck a cigar right now and smiling,,, I will miss you Jim,, so will everyone whose life you touched!! My condolences to all of you. What a beautiful tribute to him! Barb you were one of the best daughters he could ever ask for! You are a beautiful person both inside and out which is a true testament of your parents nurturing and love! Loving him was easy and I know how difficult it was to love him enough to let him go! He is free from pain and suffering and his time here was better because of your love for him! My heart aches for you and your family but find comfort in knowing he is reunited with his true love your mom. I remember him making his home a safe haven when I took my little brothers trick or treating and my parents were dressed in masks and tried to scare us. Always remember: "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear". Unknown Love you my friend. Melissa
