Obituary of Arthur J. Jodoin

Arthur J. Jodoin III, 49, of New York Mills, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 5, 2009 at his home.Art was employed at St. Elizabeth Medical Center as an OR Tech and was involved in Remsen, Poland and Yorkville Fire Departments, as well as an EMT. Art was very compassionate and worked very hard at his job, as well as volunteering as an AYSO coach. He also was a Staff Sgt and Medic with the NYS Guard. He served in the 2134 Forward Medical detachment unit of the Troy and took part in rescue and recovery during September 11th at the World Trade Center.Surviving are his wife, Colleen Jodoin of Yorkville; three children, Shaun, Arthur IV and Stephanie; his father, Arthur Jodoin Jr of Albany; his mother Barbara Farley of Florida; sister Cathy Johnson of Maine and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; two felines JoJo and Sam along with a pet frog and many special friends.Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 9am until the time of the service. Burial will be at Saratoga National Cemetery.
