Kevin,
My thoughts are with you and your family...as you grieve Christin's passing. What sad, sad news; I remember clearly her smile and simple grace; and was glad to hear tidbits of your life over the years through the HWS grapevine. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Christine and I were fast friends as elementary students at Holy Trinity. Some of my fondest memories were at the Gachowski's Clinton home, especially during the holidays. Although we haven't been in contact for many years, it does not surprise that she has touched many lives. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to all of Christine's family. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Christine's passing. I was friends with Chrissy in grade school at Holy Trinity. We were never in the same class but we became friends. She was such a happy and wonderful person to know and be around. We had a lot of fun times back in the old days.
May all the happy memories and the joy that she had brought to all help bring you strength at this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was the head resident of Sill House at Hobart and Willaim Smith Colleges the year Chris moved in as a freshman. She was a wonderful human and had a terrific sense of humor. She gave a lot to everyone she met. We will miss her very much.

I met Christin in her store soon after she opened. At the time I owned the village toy shop in new hartford. we talked as if we had know each other for ever. Discussing the retail business and how much she loved it. She was wonderful to my cioci, who is 85 and would come in the store with me and speak Polish with everyone. Christin loved it. I kept in contact with her with cards while she was in Boston, she will always be in my heart. I was out of town over the holidays and I am so sorry to have missed her services. My deepest sympathy to you all, she was so special in every way. So fortunate was I to have known her. So sorry for your loss. Cathy Newell

Chris was my roommate freshman year at William Smith College, and one of the first people I met there. She was striking in so many ways, but one of the things that I hold with me to this day was her appreciation for what was genuine, in both people and experiences. Hers was a gentle, quiet way and always thoughtful. I am not surprised by all that she accomplished in her life and will join all of you in missing her.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to you Kevin, and to your family. I was fortunate to spend time with you and with Chris on our trip to Israel in 1982, and have very fond memories of her. The brief bio of Chris on this site surely indicates hers, though way too short, was a life well lived. With warmest regards and deepest sympathies. --Mike Scheier, Hobart '82.
