I remember walking from our house on Herthum Rd. to St. Paul's Church with Weeze to attend Stations of the Cross. We would marvel at the stars and the sound the snow made crunching under our boots. I thought it was so, so special because I got to go alone with my Mom. With 6 siblings I didn't get much time alone with her. When you were alone with her, she always pointed out the beauty in nature, "little miracles" were everywhere. It is a gift of "looking" I have been blessed with to this day because of Weeze.

Sue & I offer our sincere condolences to the family on the passing of Wheezie (sp?) as WE used to know her. She was a superstar who will be sorely missed by all who know her. She always had something nice to say about people, and was always there to "lend a hand". We have wonderful memories of her when she used to live in Arlington Heights, IL.
Let the memories of all the good times LIVE in our Hearts & Minds forever!!

My world is a little sadder today knowing that Louise is no longer a part of it. Louise was an inspiration to all and a testament to not letting age stop you from doing what you want to do. My prayers are with the Skelly family....God bless, Deb

Louise was more than an aunt...she was a second mom to so many of us...she was a beautiful person inside and out...she had a way of making people feel special...she was a good listener...she loved her childhood vacations in Penn Yan, time with family, writing letters to make us smile and she raised very special Skelly cousins...wishing you all gentle days ahead...Sheila

You hope this day will never come - and Mom left us without any warning, so the shock and the void are unreal...until the seven of us gather and begin to share the beautiful stories of this wonderful woman we were blessed to call "Mother". She was the most selfless and giving woman I have even known and we all reaped the benefits of her generous nature and the nurturing she gave us and our children. My three children were blessed to have grown up in her home and enriched beyond measure by exposure to her wonderful influenece. Mom - you will be sorely missed.

Louise, Weezie, was one of the most gentle, intelligent, and kindest women I have had the priviledge of knowing. She was a a wonderful friend to my mother & sat with her often during her illness sometimes just staying with her while she slept. She was an incredible grandmother to Zach, Tim & Elizabeth, how lucky they were to have her in their lives. I would like to share this poem with the Skelly family and especially with my dear friends, Marty & Steve, Zach, Tim & Elizabeth.
"I give you this thought to keep I am with you still I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on the snow, the sunlight on ripened grain, I am gentle autumn rain When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone- I am with you still - in each new dawn."

Pat, your mom was such a delightful person. I remember most the twinkle in her eyes, and her calm and peaceful spirit. And of course that she shared the same birthday as my mom (my mom was 1 yr. older). I do pray that all the good memories of her will fill your thoughts and help to fill the void she has left. God Bless ! Carol

Dear Skelly Cousins...There are many memories including my summer visit to Central Square . Your Mom was so good to take in one more !!! Her recent devotion to my Mom and Dad will be sweetly remembered . There were many letters which always included a drawing that Chet would have some comment about ,occasional visits and phone calls during their long stay in the nursing home . Her caring for them was deep and greatly felt and appreciated by our family . We are sorry for your loss of a wonderful woman and Mother . The O'neill girls have been reunited for there is no doubt where they are !!
