My memories of Ian go back to my childhood. He and my dad were great friends for a long time. I enjoyed my friendship with son Ian while we went to school, played hockey and football together. In the early 1980's I had the opportunity to work with Ian while I was in college and I green as heck. He calmly and professionally helped me to learn about sales, marketing and business in general. He was very supportive and I valued that experience during my entire career. Yes I remember him as a hockey player & enforcer. Yes I remember him as coach and father of my friends Ian & Julie. But most of all I remember him as a mentor. My deepest sympathies Robin, Ian, Julie and all. Paul Ray

Robin, Ian, Scott, Janice, Julie and Jordan: I am so sorry to hear of Ian's passing. I have so very many memories of him that span my lifetime from childhood through my adult years. What a wonderful man he was. I was so very fond of him. My heart breaks for you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve your loss. I have no doubt that Ian and Dad are having a drink right now, talking about old times. Sending lots of love and healing prayers your way.
