Acee Family,
Veronica and I were very sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend, Sam.
We have added you and your family to our daily devotional list. And, when we attend mass on Sunday, we will add you in your family to our parish book of prayers.
I will always cherish my fond memories of first meeting Sam in 1975 when I was working for my father-in-law Ronald Johns. He always struck me as a kind, caring, gentle and compassionate man. It was many years before I saw Sam again. Every time I went to Vernon national to hunt pheasants, he was there and shared some great stories with us. There is nothing like the wisdom gained from a man who’s been around for almost a century. He was a great guy. When my father-in-law would come back up north from his home in Florida he would always make it a point to visit his good friend Sam.
May our good Lord, watch over, bless, protect, comfort, and console you and your family as you endure this very difficult, trying and sad time in your lives.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family in your time of loss and sorrow.
