Obituary of Paul T. Little
Paul T. Little, 76, of Clinton, passed away on August 8, 2023, after a brief illness.
Born in Herkimer on April 16, 1947, Paul was the son of the late Robert W. and Mary Jane (Senif) Little. He was also preceded in death by his infant son Timothy. He grew up in West Winfield and attended Boston University and Utica College. He entered into the family business of LB Senif & Sons, where he worked as secretary-treasurer for over 20 years. Paul married his high school sweetheart, Rhonda Young in 1970, and enjoyed nearly 53 years of love and devotion. The couple raised their three sons in West Winfield. Paul was community-minded, belonging to the West Winfield Fire Department and the West Winfield Optimist Club. He was an avid golfer and had a competitive spirit on and off the golf course. He enjoyed following both local and professional sports, as well as a rousing board game with his grandkids — that he always played to win. A voracious reader and puzzler, Paul was often found with a New York Times Crossword or Sudoko puzzle in hand. After his retirement, Paul and Rhonda moved to Clinton, where he worked summers at Skenandoa Club for more than 20 years, a job he never considered “work.”
He is survived by his loving wife Rhonda; his three sons, Christopher (Krystal) of Fla., Robert (Meghan) of Mass., and Kevin (Carolyn) of Mass.; his beloved grandchildren, Kendall, Declan, Kaden, Maeve, Bailey, Brigid, and Hayden; his two sisters, Marty Smith of Sherrill and Peggy (Dick) Young of Cedar Lake and his brother Dan (Carol) Little of Albuquerque, N.M.; many nieces and nephews; and special friends John and Jeanne Markley.
Visiting hours in the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton on Friday, August 18th from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 19th at 11a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton.
