Obituary of Tammie A. Crumb

Tammie Crumb, 64, of Westmoreland passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023.

She was born in Rome, daughter of the late Paul and Ann (Cassie Evans) Bowers. She spent much of her youth between the Camden, NY area and Kissimmee, FL, where she graduated from Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida. On May 1st, 1982, she was united in marriage to Alan Crumb in Verona. In 1999, Tammie and Alan moved into the Westmoreland area where they started their family. She was a devoted mother to her two sons and was their biggest fan. Whether it be soccer, marching band, school musical, or whatever their involvement, she was always there cheering them on.

Tammie will be missed dearly by her loving husband, Alan; sons, Jason, and Tyler; siblings, Roger and Denise Bowers, Harold and Mary Bowers, John and Susan Bowers, and Cindy Scott; mother-in-law Linda Crumb; and her dear friends Andi and David Hyle. She is predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law, Jeff Scott.

She was employed at Madison Oneida BOCES in the Regional Information Center as a Computer Programmer Analyst.

All are invited to calling hours for Tammie on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 3-6PM at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Clinton. A service to celebrate her life will immediately follow calling hours at 6PM.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Tammie’s name to the Salvation Army or Rescue Mission.
