We met Patty when she was helping with her in law Ceil’s house. She spent many hours there with all that had to be done with the furnishings and preparing the house for sale. At the same time managing with Phil’s illness. We admired her strength and dedication to her family. Our condolences to Sarah and the rest of the family and her friends.

Patty was a kind and loving person, almost part of our family.
She came to my apartment in Manhattan when visiting her daughter.
It was a joy to know her and I’m very sad to hear that she has passed.
I’ll always be grateful for the help she was to my sister.
She is surely in heaven.
With deep sympathy,
Judy Synkowski

Patty came into my life when she married my cousin Phil. Patty's generosity of spirit, her kindness, acceptance, and ability to put one at ease quickly made us family. During the past few years Patty and I really bonded over our commonalities. We would spend many lengthy phone conversations discussing the political, career, community and family values we shared. It's hard for me to comprehend that Patty won't be that phone call away during the inevitable next political headline news.
Patty was there for our family when my godmother, Sarah's grandmother, became ill. Patty did all the legal, medical, and just everything that needed to be done work. She never complained and took on more than her share. Patty's generosity extended to sharing her precious grandson, Robert. Patty would send me the cutest photos of Robert, especially when she knew I needed a lift in my mood.
Our world is a much better place because Patty was here. She is a special woman and I am blessed to have had her in my life.

Patti and I were cousins and Patti was "the One" I could not wait to see as our family of eleven drove 3 plus hours from just outside of NYC to the farm at Paris Station. The minute we saw each other, off we went to the barn, the Silo, or a room in the house to get away from all the others and eventually, as we grew older, off we went in the snow mobile or my VW bug to football games and local pubs to party. It is hard to describe the relationship in words. We just clicked and loved each other deeply. One of my favorite memories was the year we went off to college, her to Buffalo and me to SUNY at Farmingdale and I met Wendy Tuttle from Sauquoit and we surprised Patti at the homecoming football game at her high school that November - I was in college with her best friend from high school. The three of us danced around in circles at the irony and partied literally till the cows came home. Aunt Eleanor was in the window of her farmhouse as we pulled in in my VW Bug and we geared up for what was inevitably to come every time we were together :):):). We loved Aunt Eleanor and as much as we drove her crazy with out shenanigans, she had an understanding twinkle in her eye over our relationship. Here are a few photos of those precious "cousin love" days.
