Samuel Carmen, 83, of Deansboro, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Abraham House in Rome.
He was born in Canastota, a son of the late Frank and Josephine (Devenczenzo) Carmen. He grew up in Rome and served his country in the United States Army. Sam was married to Eleanor Rashford in 1976. Sam worked for Town of Kirkland Highway Department for many years. Sam loved to fish and sit and talk with friends while sharing a beer.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm Friday, July 8, 2022, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Clinton. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service. Please consider donations in Sam’s memory to Abraham House, 417 N. Washington St., Rome, NY 13440.
