My sincerest condolences to the families. I knew Bill, way back in the '70's, when he was a Deputy Sherriff. He used to drop tickets off at my house ,ex husband was a town justice. My son, 3 at the time, would race to the window and Bill would turn the lights and siren on for him. SUCH joy that was to watch. Bill's kindness was felt by MANY. He was a devout Christian too. I went to MYF with his Marion, some 50 yrs ago. May he RIP.
