Sending lots of love to you Kristen and Marcus, Norm and I very sad when we heard that our dear Maryellen had passed. Your mother and Andy ( as well as you guys) became more than neighbours, you are family and we love everyone of you forever. Your mom had a heart bigger than the universe and her loving, caring and wisdom was endless. Maryellen helped me through the most difficult time of my life which you are facing now , she always told me to take everyday as it comes and to let my memories help to heal my heart. I am now passing this advice to you with hopes it may help in some small way.
Elizabeth

Very sad to hear of Maryellen passing away. This sweet gentle lady was my neighbour in Stittville for three wonderful years. It was a great honour to have known her and Andy. They made me feel very welcome in the community and went out of their way to help me out when needed and it was my pleasure to help them as well. I miss you both but take solace in knowing you are reunited once again. My parents were also guests in your home when they came to see me and and are saddened to hear of your loss. My mother still has the Christmas decoration that Maryellen gave her when she stopped in for tea.
Andy, Maryellen is back with you sir, take good care of her until we can all meet again someday !!

Ken and I were very sad to hear of Andy, and now Maryellen passing away. They were friendly and kind neighbors to our son Sean. When we arrived in Stittville from Canada to visit Sean, Maryellen and Andy had us over for lunch and numerous visits for tea! We enjoyed our time with them very much.
May they rest in peace.

A wonderful person has passed on but will not be forgotten. Thank you Aunt Maryellen for keeping our family up to date on everyone's activities. The beautiful pictures and notes over many years were much appreciated. Your generosity was unmatched. Uncle Andy and you were the perfect couple, always willing to extend the word "family" to countless others. Your smile warmed out hearts and you will be dearly missed. But you are now with Andy and all is good. Reat in Peace dear friend. Love, Jim

We are so saddened to hear of Maryellen’s passing, such a wonderful lady. We were blessed getting to know her and Andy well during our time on Thomas Circle, and since. Our hearts hurt for her loss, but know that she is reunited with Andy. She had such a BIG heart, we will miss her warm and caring friendship. Hold tight the fond memories, she will forever remain there.

Kristin,
I am so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I thought of her just the other day and wondered how she was doing. As you know she was very, very special to me! She spent many days by my side helping with community screenings! She brought me coffee and food when we were so busy I could not get a break. She even rescheduled hair appointments so she could be available to come out with me!! She brought me a handkerchief at my Michael's wake as was her tradition. I returned it to her when Andy died, and now I will bring one to you. Losing her is huge - that I understand. You have been a phenomenal daughter to her, and I know it was a "new adventure" every day. Please know you took care of her and Andy well and now you have another Angel looking out for you and Marcus.
Sincerely,
Angie Roche
