I just heard the news of Paul's "graduation" to heaven. Paul was a wonderful and down to earth man and friend to many. We spent many years together in recovery, and he helped countless people with his "no nonsense" brand of AA. My heartfelt condolences to Anne and the entire family. May Paul's memory be a blessing to his family, friends and all that knew him>

"Paul Dunn '58, recovering alcoholic" as I knew him from almost 30 years of Princeton Reunion's "AA Haven". His wide smile and warm, deep voice welcomed me and so many others as he shared his joy of coming to his XXth Princeton Reunion sober. He and his reconditioned "white bucks" shoes and his antique metal beer "mug" were quaint connections to his past, as he alertly and generously connected with successive generations of Tigers both in recovery, and through many other organizations. My life was better from knowing this wonderful man, and I wish him peace.
In loving memory,
"Doug Rubin '81, recovering alcoholic"

I first knew Paul when I was a journalism student at Utica College. He was a guest speaker, an adjunct faculty member and a generous supervisor of internships for students interested in broadcasting. Later, when I was a faculty member myself, he visited my classes and remained a resource for many local media professionals. It was such a pleasure to encounter him in recent years. I'm sad at his passing, for his family and for our community.

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of Paul. He was always someone I valued and cherished. His honesty, sense of humor, kindness and he always was a true gentleman. I know you will miss him but I believe love never dies and in time you'll be aware of his love around you.
