Joan, I can't believe I find myself writing a second tribute In less than two weeks first for Robert and now for Ed. I am so very sorry. Your grief must be immeasurable. Ed was a wonderful man He always treated me with kindness and respect. Some of fondest memories were visiting him at the Masonic home and chatting in front of the fish pond. He always valued my opinion and listened intently to what I had to say. In return I learned something new and often thought provoking from a wide variety of topics. I totally enjoyed Ed's sense of humor. I would closely watch his interaction with Robert and sometimes I couldn't help but chuckle. I've been truly blessed to have known both you and Ed during the six years that Robert and I were together. My deepest condolences to your entire family. With love and admiration. Lorraine Panella

I am saddened to hear of Ed’s passing over to the spirit world but I am joyful to have known him. He was a very kind and gentle man and I so much appreciate the beautiful relationship that he and Joan had...and his role in helping bring up the girls. A beautiful caring union is what they had and it serves as a good example for many of us. I imagine Ed soaring with the angels looking back at us and smiling.
