My deepest condolences to The Moore Family. Mrs Moore provided years upon years of happiness for me and my family through her beautiful voice. We always knew it was Christmas when we heard her beautiful, unmatched soprano voice soaring above everyone else during the Hallelujah Chorus! My mother and grandmother truly loved hearing her every Sunday and especially during the Christmas season and I’m sure were waiting up there in heaven to welcome her and beg her to sing for them! I was lucky enough to sing with her in church choir for many years which I will cherish until we meet again!
With Deepest Sympathy,
Eric Foster

It was such a pleasure to come to know Joanna through the Opera Guild. She was extraordinary in so many ways, and simply beautiful. She will always be Carmen for me!! Sincere condolences to Roger and her family. Joan E. Shkane

I have known and loved Joanna and her extraordinary family for 62 years. She and I sang several operas together with the Utica Opera Company, including Carmen, Rigoletto, and Madama Butterfly; and we collaborated in several musical productions with the Clinton Central Schools, usually starring her talented and remarkable children. We also once produced a very fine (if I may say so) version of Pirates of Penzance, featuring the whole Moore family and the whole Davison family.
Roger and Joanna created one of the most memorable love stories I have ever known, providing the best possible role model for what a loving home can be for their children and all who knew them.
The world has lost someone very special, but she leaves behind so many lives indelibly touched by hers.. God bless you all.

My deepest sympathies to Dr. Moore and the entire family. I've had the extraordinary honor and priviledge to sing with Joanna on many occasions at St. Mary's Church and in a Player's of Utice production in 2004. I owe a debt of gratitude to Joanna for recruiting me to sing with the choir at St. Mary's - an association which continues to this day - and thank her for introducing me to some of the greatest friends I've ever known. I will miss singing our favorite duets together during the holidays. May you find peace in heaven with God the Father.
With Love,
Linda Potts
