Obituary of David E. Stewart

David E. "Stewy" Stewart, 56, of Knoxboro, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2010. He was born on October 27, 1953 in Utica, the son of the late Irving and Catherine Koba Stewart and was raised in Westmoreland. Dave was educated in Westmoreland Schools. He worked at Cycle Way and then Carbone as a mechanic. Dave had great love for motorcycles and antique cars. He will be greatly missed by family and friends as well as his faithful cat and companion, Tommy. David leaves behind his loving children, David J. Stewart, Westmoreland, and Sandra D. Stewart, Steuben, who is joining the US Navy; two brothers, William Stewart, Westmoreland and Donald Stewart of Holland Patent; long term girlfriend, Hazel Bronson, Knoxboro; many relatives and friends, especially Mike and Cathy Townsend, Clinton. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 7:00PM at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
