MCS and MECS shared transport to the BOCES vocational buildings when we were in HS. That is where we met. He had a ready smile always. Years later we reconnected when I became a School Nurse for MECS. Marty had great pride in his job of maintaining building and grounds. His readiness to help, his humor and that smile plus his genuine love for his family will always be remembered. True to his personality, he didnt want recognition on his last day at school but......... students and staff lined the halls with the rafters raised by the sound of applause. RIP, friend.

I remember Marty from school when I was a little person. He was the sweetest and funniest guy. He was the friend of my Uncle John who was the head custodian at Morrisville Eaton. I will always remember him smiling and joking around with us kids. I know he was a wonderful man and I sincerely sorry for his families loss.

Marty was always so helpful when I needed anything at school in the 1970s. He would usually pretend he wasn't going to help me but I always knew he would. He had a smile for everyone and never made you feel like you were taking him away from his work to unlock the band room or help me move colorguard equipment.
