I was sad to recently learn of Mrs Kinnel’s passing. As my chemistry teacher in 1974-75 she influenced the direction of my life profoundly. Now, as an associate professor in a health professional school I recall, and use, her techniques to engage students. A great woman!

Anne always made me smile. I have fond memories of her wonderful hospitality and warmth. She never changed as the rest of us did.

I am so very sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. She and I shared a few conversations about both our battles with this horrible dreadful disease. My thoughts and prayers to her family. It saddens me to lose another strong woman to this illness.

Yesterday we all lost a very special friend of ours that was so very much loved. Strangely enough it was on Valentines Day. A day that we celebrate love, which Ann had so much of. She always made you feel like you were the only person in the room. She genuinely cared about you. I have known Anne for about 10 years. She brought so much joy to our office when she came in to help us out. Those very few times that she was not able to come. The day just wasn't the same. We didn't care if she came in and did any work, we just loved visiting with her. She always had words of wisdom and put a smile on our faces. Anne will be truly missed, but we know that we now have an Angel watching over us. I will remember her always!
Robin and her family are in my prayers.
Love Karen

I feel so fortunate to have had the pleasure of knowing my sweet Anne also known as "my BFF". Tuesday was my favorite day of the week because I knew I would see her shining face come through the door. Her hysterical humor and calming wit were like no other. Her wisdom and her advice was always appreciated. She listened when I spoke and she spoke when I needed to listen, and that was often. She became like a mom to me. I am so grateful I was able to spend time with her this week and share those thoughts. She said, this is how legends are made and she was so right. She touched so many lives and gave so much to others asking for nothing in return. She lived life to the fullest and I hope I can live in her footsteps. She was the perfect role model I needed in my life. You will be missed, but you will always be my angel. My sincere condolences to Robin, the boys and family. May god help you find peace at this difficult time.

A one of a kind lady. Anne volunteered in the Medical Staff Office and we always loved seeing her. She had a quick wit and always made us laugh. Her one liners were the best. She loved to stop for a quick chat and had a huge sweet tooth, always checking what candy we happened to have in our dishes. She gave countless hours of her time volunteering and also made beautiful quilts for the babies on Labor & Delivery. I will miss seeing her walk through the door. My condolences to the family.

I was fortunate to have Anne for Honors Chemistry in her second to last year of teaching in Clinton. She was a wonderful and demanding teacher, which paid off for me in a perfect Regents exam score thanks to her skill and style in educating her students. She did, however, also occasionally call me "Tim", which was always amusing. My condolences to the real Tim, as well as Robin, Geoff and her entire family. She will not be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Anne's passing. She was an amazing mentor to me as a chemistry teacher. I have always thought of her as I have worked to earn the respect of students and colleagues over the years. She is very much missed.
