Manuella "Micky" Romeo passed away after a brief illness at Rome Memorial Hospital on January 17, 2018 with her family gathered around her. She was predeceased by her husband, James Romeo, her daughter, Regina Romeo, brother, Ralph Murine and son-in-law, Thomas Curley.
Micky was the center of her family with the tradition of Sunday dinners with homemade meatballs bringing everyone together. She is survived by her daughters; Renee (Robert Lamb) Romeo, Roxanne Curley, Rosemarie (Michael) Powers and her son, James (Susan) Romeo Jr. Her grandchildren; Michael Curley, Thomas (Cara Spataro) Curley, Nicholas (Andrea) Curley, Alesha Romeo (Vincent) Ouimette, Robert (Nicole Boccardo) Romeo, Jacob Romeo and great-grandchildren; Ellianna, Marciano, Santino, and Roman were her pride and joy.
She is also survived by her large extended family including in-laws, Katherine Lashen, Dominick and Martha Romeo, Charles Doris and numerous nieces and nephews. In respect for her wishes there will be no public calling hours. Friends and family are welcome to a Celebration of her Life on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11am at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., Clinton. Followed directly by her burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro.
