To Dot's family : Words cannot express how sorry I am that Dot died. As the days go by your grief will lessen but time will never erase the memories you and I have so treasure them. Grief never ends, but it changes. It's a passage , not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith. It is the price of "love"
Hugs to you all, love Cousin Edie

I got to know Dorothy (and her husband and son) when I was working with her on an article on a story Walter D. Edmonds had written about a fire on the McConnell farm. She was a perfect co-author, welcoming and very engaged. May she rest in peace.

Shirlee and I extend our deepest sympathy in your loss. Dot was dear longtime friend and classmate.l enjoyed so much working with her in planning class reunions and as a supervisor in the Town of Marshall (1989-91) and our mutual interest in local history. My last visit with her was looking over her great notebook of memories. We will keep Dorothy and the family in our thoughts and prayers. Lou and Shirlee

Really learned so much last summer from you about the history of your family and the history of the area.
Helped Jeff make your kitchen and patio/deck easier for you that was nice to help
You will leave a memory that will not be lost.
Rest in Peace

Our sad goodbye to our dearest Aunt Dorothy. You have always been kind, compassionate, caring, intelligent, wise and giving. We will miss you and your loss is felt by your whole extended family. You touched so many lives in your quiet and smiling way. Our family has lost its beloved historian, but someone will pick up the threads where you left off. God Bless my dear cousins and their families as they mourn her loss.
