Obituary of Rebecca J. Page

Rebecca J. Page, 85, of New Hartford, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born at the family home in Clinton on December 20, 1924, a daughter of Albert A. and Rebecca Edmonson Mosher. She graduated from Clinton Central School. On June 30, 1951, she was married to George Page at the Stone Presbyterian Church. Becky worked for Rome Cable and at Utica Mutual as a bookkeeper. She also was the bookkeeper for the family business - A.A. Mosher Roofing. She was a member of Young at Heart in New Hartford for 25 years, where she served as the activities coordinator. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting mittens, socks and afghans that continue to be used to this day. She is survived by her husband, George; her daughter Pamela Page of Manlius; her brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Joyce Mosher of Clinton; her sister, Nancy Jweid of Utica and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Dwight, Vincent and John Mosher. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 2-4pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. The family thanks the Nursing and medical staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center for their kindness, superb care and comfort.
