Leona H. Catlin, 87, of Haywood Lane, Nashville, TN, passes away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
She was born the daughter of the late Harold A. and Elizabeth Roberts Hinman, Sr., in Deansboro on November 26, 1922. Leona had worked in a retail department store office, cookie shop, and various othere jobs. She was highly skilled at sewing, quilt making, knitting, embroidery, cooking, and baking. Her family and many of her friends benefitted from her skills.
Leona is survived by three sons and their spouses, Ross A. Catlin, of Nashville, TN, Robert A. and Sharon K. Catlin, of Cincinnati, OH, and Brian D. and Sharon G. Catlin, of Charlotte, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Joseph Hoard, of Pampa, TX; and many grand and great-grand children.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Deansboro Cemetery.
