William Reginald Thomson, 73, was called to peace on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Katherine Luther Home, holding his granddaughter Angela's hand.
He was born March 1, 1937 in Prescott, Ontario, Canada to the late Robert and Marion Ewart Thomson. William was self employed as a painting contractor. He played for the Clinton Stars in 1962 and later coached Clinton Youth Hockey.
William is survived by his loving wife, Faye; a son, Steven; a daughter, Sandra; a daughter-in-law Shirley; five grandchildren, Tina, Dawn, Cheryl, Angela, and Steve; 7 great grandchildren; a loving sister Linda Spencer; relatives; and friends.
He was a loving and generous father, husband, and friend. William will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 2-4PM at the Clinton Manor Apartments, 50 Franklin Ave., Clinton, NY, in William's memory. Arrangements by the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc.
