Tike,
You are now wrapped in God's arms, and are finally at peace and without pain. Watch over me from up above, and keep me from harm as you've done all your life.
I will always miss you and love you.

I was never lucky enough to meet Tike but always felt it an honour to be able to 'take part' in Barbara and Tike's family through her messages on parchmentlove group. I came to feel that Tike was one of those people who made such a contribution in the life of his family that, at the moment, the emptiness seems unbearable but the family will eventually talk about him with smiles and joy and he'll still be a part of them forever.

Dear Tike, I didn`t know you in a physical way, but yet I feel as though I did know you from the wonderful, funny, sad, brave events which occurred in your life, brought us to me in the only way possible - by your darling wife, your dearest Barbara, known to me as my dear friend Cookie - Cookie brought you to life as a very lovely and gentle man - a man who made this world a better place for all who knew you, just for being in it - now, you sadly are no longer with us on this plane, but I pray you are now in Heaven with your Maker, and that you will rest in eternal peace and happiness until you and your dear Barbara and all your loved ones will meet again - sleep well dear Tike, and may God Bless you and your family always - with my prayers and my warmest thoughts - from a friend who never had the honour to know you, but somehow did via your dearest Barbara - God Bless you all - fly with your Angels dear Tike - from Katy xx

Dear Aunt Barbara, Dawn, David, and Ms. Mary;
What a privilege it was to be born during a time, and into a family that allowed me the opportunity of have Uncle Tike as a part of my life. I will always cherish the memories that he was a part of like going to the "Buffalo Head" restaurant for fish frys, or going to his family's camp and driving past the huge antenna that seems to disappear into the sky as you drove under it. I'll never forget the snow mobiling when it was so cold that the moisture from your nose would freeze all the way down to your lips. I remember going to visit you in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Uncle Tike's dune buggy. I remember knocking the wall out of the basement of your house and the drive-in movie, "The Last House on the Left," that he took us to see.
We all share in your loss. You are all in our prayers and thoughts. May God bless and comfort you all in this trying time.
Love,
Randy, Jackie, Frank James, Brandi, Toni Lynn, Tasha, and Christoper.
