Obituary of Stanley S. Pryputniewicz

Stanley S. Pryputniewicz Waterville Stanley S. Pryputniewicz, 78, a longtime resident of Waterville, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at Faxton-St.Luke's Hospital. He was born in New York Mills on January 4, 1932, a son of the late Maciej and Karolina Nawrocki Pryputniewicz. He attended Clinton Schools. Stanley retired after many years as a salesman. He had been a member of the Polka Club in New York Mills and was a collector of antiques. Stan was also an avid bird watcher and enjoyed raising German Shepherds. Stanley is survived by the mother of his children, Edna Pryputniewicz; his six children and their spouses, Daniel and Janet Pryputniewicz, David and Christine Pryputniewicz and Eric Pryputniewicz, all of Waterville, Sandra and Harold Kitchen of Cassville, Lisa and Edmund Callaghan of Arizona and Laurie Pryputniewicz of Oriskany Falls; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sister Stephanie Gacek of CA; brother-in-law, John Gacek; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Alfreida Pryputniewicz of Clinton and two sisters-in-law, Fannie Pryputniewicz of Clinton and Geraldine Pryputniewicz of Franklin Springs; relatives and friends. He is predeceased by one son, Barry and three brothers, Joseph, Alexander, and Adam. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Interment will be made in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Central NY Chapter JDRF, 100 Metropolitan Park Dr. Suite 400, Liverpool, NY, 13088. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the staff in the ER and ICU of Faxton- St. Luke's Hospital.
