Obituary of William J. Stewart Sr.

William J. Stewart, Sr., 71, died May 26, 2017.
He was born September 21, 1945 in Utica, a son of the late Irving O. and Catherine (Koba) Stewart and graduated from Westmoreland Central School. Bill served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was head mechanic at Madison Central School Bus Garage for many years. Bill had a passion for cars and tow trucks. He was a fabricator who built and operated wreckers. He always had a big smile and was quick with a laugh.
He is survived by his three sons, William J. Stewart Jr and wife Penny, Richard Stewart and Scott Stewart all of Munnsville; four grandchildren, Billy, Cody, Stephanie and Allan; four great-grandchildren; his brother Donald of Barneveld and two nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by a brother David.
All are invited to call Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5-7:30pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton and stay for a celebration of his life at 7:30pm.
