Lueen E. Wood, 73, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2017. She was born in Rome, the daughter of Robert and Irene (Bond) Egan. Lueen worked as an LPN for many years at Faxton-St. Luke's, Hamilton Hospital and Harding Nursing Home. She was a member of Augusta Presbyterian Church. Lueen enjoyed puzzles, crosswords and crocheting. She had a wonderful collection of Santas that she started many years ago. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Bonnie and Ted Knutti of Deansboro, John and Darleen Leuenberger of Morrisville, Brian and Nicole Leuenberger of Oriskany Falls and Lisa and Bernie Brouillette of Knoxboro; daughter-in-law Angela Leuenberger of NC; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her cat Smokey. She was predeceased by two sons, Jeffrey and Terry and her husband of 10 years, Peter Wood. The family thanks Lueen's special friends, Joan Lewis, Carol, Keith and Billy Smith for their care and friendship over the years. Graveside services will be held at 11:30am on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Skinner Cemetery. All are invited back to Augusta Presbyterian Church for a reception following the service at the cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., Clinton.
