Obituary of Dennis W. Cartwright

Dennis W. Cartwright, of Clinton, NY died peacefully at home on January  17, 2017. He was born on September 19, 1944, a son of Glenn and Marguerite Cartwright. He attended Clinton Central School. Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Heather Grimaldi and husband Michael Grimaldi of Deerfield, NY, and Kimberly Helmstetter and husband Jamie Helmstetter of Camden, ME. Dennis is survived by his grandchildren Adrianna Grimaldi and Claire, Sophie, James and Wesley Helmstetter. He also leaves his sister, Sharron Paulson, Clinton, NY and brother Darryl Cartwright.  He is predeceased by his brother, Glenn C. Cartwright and brother in law, John Paulson.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.   Dennis retired from Niagara Mohawk and most recently Carbone Auto Group in 2016.  He truly enjoyed his career at Carbone where he worked as a dedicated Commercial Account Representative, expanding the Carbone territory and increasing their sales into the millions. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his two daughters and their families on summer vacations in the Adirondacks.  His favorite Adirondack destinations were White Lake and Otter Lake where he spent his time relaxing and going for boat rides on his boat.  In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private service will be held later in the spring.   Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., Clinton, NY.  Please consider donations to Hospice & Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413.
