Obituary of Henry R. Klis

Henry R. Klis, 93, of Westmoreland, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital with his son by his side.
Henry was born on November 6, 1923, a son of the late Frank and Helen (Cieplenski) Klis. He attended Westmoreland Central School. Henry served his country in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was united in marriage to Jean E. Burdick on May 29, 1964 in Vernon, NY. Henry enjoyed deer hunting with his wife Jean.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean; son and spouse, Mark and Monica Klis, sister, Locardie Klis; grandchildren, Jake Landry, Hunter and Dillon Klis; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Fredrick, Rudolph, and Edward Klis.
All are invited to call from 6-7pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Services will be held immediately following at 7pm at the funeral home. A private internment will held in the spring at Vernon Cemetery.
