Obituary of Albert Frederick Mosher

Albert Frederick “Fred” Mosher, 95, of Sawyer Road, passed away peacefully at home with his wife and family by his side on Saturday, October 8, 2016.
He was born on December 7, 1920, a son of Albert and Rebecca (Edmonson) Mosher. Fred attended Clinton Central School and worked for his family at Mosher Roofing. He served his country in the US Air Force and retired from Griffiss Air Force Base as an airplane mechanic. He was united in marriage to Joyce Callahan on August 30, 1975. Fred enjoyed caring for his home and tending to his garden. He had a love for all animals and was totally devoted to his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Mosher, Joe Slivonik, III, Kris Slivonik, Pat and Doug Rockwell, Barb and Seymour Stockbridge, Kathy and Bob Felski, Fred Mosher, Doug and Susan Mosher, Sharon and Dan Mahoney, Alan and Brenda Mosher, Kenny and Gail Mosher; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martin Jr, William and Cynthia Callahan, Michael and Shelly Callahan, Patrick Callahan and Sue, Charles Callahan, Stanley Callahan, Katie and Guy Wright, and George Page; a dear friend, Shirley Swan; godchild, Kelly Alesia; and a special niece, Michelle Carroll.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, James, Dwight and Alice Mosher, Vincent and Althea Mosher, John and Helen Mosher, Rebecca Page, Nancy and Bill Jweid; nephew, Donald Mosher; and sister-in-law, Georgia Callahan.
Special thanks to all the nursing staff from Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. for their dedication and compassion.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton. All are invited to call from 4-7pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
