Obituary of Timothy A. Bohling
Please share a memory of Timothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Timothy Andrew Bohling, 27, of Pinnacle Road, left this earth way too soon as a result from an ATV accident, on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
He was born on November 12, 1988, the son of Edward and Lisa (Bilow) Bohling. Tim graduated from Sauquoit Valley Central School in 2007. He received his Associate's Degree from Finger Lakes Community College and his Bachelor's Degree in Renewable Resources from Morrisville College in 2011. Tim worked at Par Government in Rome as a program manager. In June 2013, he was married to Justanna Gray. The couple shared a life filled with a deep bond of friendship, love, and doing everything together. Tim's true passion was being an outdoorsman enjoying hunting, hiking, fishing, snowboarding, biking, and spending time at the family's Adirondack camp.
Always one to bring laughter, create a new word or phrase, break out in a sing-a-long, or to honestly tell you how it was, he filled the room with life and the hearts of all who knew him with joy.
Tim is survived by his wife Justanna of Sauquoit; his devoted parents Edward and Lisa Bohling of Clinton; his sister Marilyn Bohling and her partner David Lebiednik of Westmoreland; his brother and best friend Justin Bohling and fiancée Chelsea Clark; "adopted brother" Andy Ibholm of Chateaugay; mother-in-law Brenda Gray and her fiancé Steve Frys; and father-in-law John Gray, all of Homer; sister-in-law Johnna Gray of Cortland; grandparents-in-law, Judy and Paul Ferrara of Preble; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends; along with his animal clan of canines Trent and Gunner, 2 cats, and 12 chickens.
All are invited to celebrate Tim's life during calling hours Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 4-7 pm at Owens, Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., in Clinton. The Funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 at St. John the Evangelist, 66 Oxford Rd., New Hartford, NY.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Timothy A. Bohling Foundation, 55 College St., Clinton, NY 13323 - a scholarship in Tim's name for prospective students in Environmental Conservation and Engineering. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
