Tricia Meyer & Jeffrey Rogers, Jared's brothers and sisters, grandparents, family and extended family. My deepest condolences on your loss. I have the privilege of being a friend and former colleague of Greg, and remember the stories he would share about Jared and his other nieces and nephews, along with those of his own kids. My memories of Jared are from the many "Bring your child to work days" at BNYM. He was always such a good kid....helpful....happy....respectful... and I remember one in particular where he declared "My mom is hot!" I cannot even pretend to know the kind of pain that came with Jared's loss. I know I will never forget him and I pray that his memory will bring only happiness to you. Jared was and always will be like an older brother to me. He used to tell his co workers at camp that we were siblings. He was my favorite counselor and pushed me to continue in the CIT program. Because of him, I'll be getting my whistle next summer. This hit me hard. He will be forever missed and will always hold a special place in my heart.

To the family of Jared, I am deeply sorry for loss. I could sit here say the same thing everyone says but that would only be a lie. No one truly know the hurt and heartache you all must be filling, unless they are in your shoes. Even though Jared is not with you anymore, he is watching over you and protecting you. The Lord had much bigger plans for him. I will never understand How Our Lord does things, but he sees a bigger picture and although it's not very clear in this moment, in time you will see. You were blessed to have him 18 years, he is now doing the Lords work somewhere in those heavenly skies. I pray that each day becomes better than the last. I'm sending hugs to you and your family

I am so sorry to hear of Jared's passing. Certainly the world is a bit darker without his bright light. although I know it will radiate from heaven. My vivid memory is of him coming to my home with his Dad to help plan wedding music for Jeffrey and Tiffany. He was such a gentleman - and very proud of being Best Man and al that it entails (pretty heady stuff for a little guy!) I remember telling my family all about this little doll with the shy smile.
My heart goes out to Jeffrey - he became my surrogate nephew when our own PJ became a surrogate brother....to Linda and Richard, who became an extended family at a time when it was so appreciated. Certainly the loving compassion you have extended to so many others will return to you one thousandfold at this most difficult time.
Know that all of you - the whole family - - are loved and prayed for now and always.

I am speaking on behalf of my son Nate Morrow. Nate left for college 2 weeks ago at SUNY Binghamton and rarely comes home. Last weekend he flew home (in his car) after hearing this horrific news. He and "the pack" you describe all cried, reminisced and mourn the loss of your son. We are so saddened as a family. Jared by all accounts made an impact on the lives of many. May you not feel alone as we all grieve his loss. Life does not go on. In movies and books yes. But for us who this touched so close we will continue to mourn.

I was Jared's 9th grade English teacher. He was quiet, but caring and deep. Smart, but shy and reserved. You could tell he would soon come into his own; I wish I still knew him when he became so outgoing and comfortable with who he was. He was lost far too soon.
