Virginia "Jeanie" Rigaud Oriskany Falls Virginia 'Jeanie' Rigaud of Main Street passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010, with her family by her side. She was born on the family farm in Sangerfield, on December 13, 1921, the daughter of Paul and Susan Kilacs Brocker. A graduate of Morrisville College, Virginia was married to Frederick N. Sinclair who was killed in 1943 during World War II. In 1947, she married Ralph Rigaud, sharing many happy years until his death on May 30, 1970. Virginia worked at Cater-Lincoln-Mercury for 15 years and as a broker with Kay Real Estate for 20 years. Virginia is survived by her son, Doug Sinclair of Oriskany Falls; three granddaughters, Carolyn Jean Nelson, Elizabeth Ann Sinclair Cady and Victoria Louise Taylor, all of the Syracuse area; former daughter-in-law, Henrietta Sinclair; six great-grandchildren, Michael Epifani, Alex Nelson, Francesca Miesner, Samuel Cady and Veronica and Emily Taylor; her nephews and niece, Steve, Paul and Daniel Brocker and Lorrie Brocker Bell. She was predeceased by her sister, Susan Brocker, and her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Ann Brocker. There will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held Monday, May 24, 2010, 2:00pm, at the Waterville Cemetery. Arrangements made by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, Clinton. Please consider donations in Virginia's memory to the local VFW branches in Oriskany Falls, Waterville, and Clinton.
