Obituary of Rita G. Miller

Rita G. Miller, 92, of New Hartford, passed away at the Presbyterian Home for CNY on July 29, 2016. She was born May 2, 1924, daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Messe) Stockbridge. Rita was a graduate of Westmoreland Central School. During WWII she worked for the Rome Cable Company. She also worked at Clinton Farm Supply. On June 24, 1950 Rita was united in marriage to Robert V. Miller until his passing in 1984. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Scott and Patricia of Westmoreland, Kevin and Jeorge Arcellana of Clinton, and Roger and Deborah of Whitesboro; grandchildren, Steven, Michael, David and his wife Krista, Andrew and his wife Nicole, Daniel, Dylan and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Harper, Hadley, and Gavin; daughter-in-law, Ann Miller; sister-in-law, Gertrude Allen; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Charles and Ann Stockbridge, Mary Stockbridge, Theresa and Edward Donley, Aime (Bud) and Eleanor Stockbridge, Tina and Arnie Ford. All are invited to call from 4-7pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton.
