The Sheriff didn't get his man that day....back when me and Pat were about 7 or 8 years old, we were playing "cops n robbers" with Pat being the bad guy, he escaped capture. I was chasing him around our old farmhouse with a piece of wood corner round trim as a "cigar"...well on turn 2, I tripped and impaled myself....seeing that I was gonna be done for the day, Pat decided he better get home!!! I ended up with stitches in my throat, lost tonsils and Pat escaped lock down! We had a lot of good times together.
