Obituary of Betty Elsenbeck

Betty Elsenbeck, 86, of Clinton, NY passed away on January 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Betty was born on February 12, 1929 in Whitesboro, NY, the daughter of the late Walter and Ruth (Titus) Bullen. On December 2, 1947, she married Eugene K. Elsenbeck, a blessed union of 46 years until Eugene's passing in 1993. She was a devoted wife and mother and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and her friends at the Clinton Manor. Betty is survived by her sons, Eugene K. Jr. of Clinton, Ronald (wife – Sue) of Oklahoma City, Dennis (wife – Barbara) of Orchard Park, NY, Timothy (wife Susan) of New Hartford, and Daniel (wife Beth) of Waterville; daughter, Kimberly (husband – Mike Teesdale) of Clinton; brothers, Ronald Bullen of Cleveland, NY and Robert (wife – Lorraine) of Newport, NY; sisters, Bea Agnew of Yorkville, NY and Evelyn (husband - Doug Jones) of Marcy; 16 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband; her daughters, Kathy Smoulcey and Linda Wolak; and brothers and sisters. Betty was particularly proud that each of her five sons served in various branches of military service and that her daughters shared her personal strengths and independency. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 4-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College Street, Clinton, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10am on January 14, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Clinton. The family would like to thank the nurses at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Lutheran Care for their exceptional care given to Betty.
