I had the pleasure of working with Joyce in Barnaveld. And when I say pleasure I mean it. She was such a giving person to the patients, famlies, and her co-workers, She went above and beyond everyday. We talked about the Yankkees all the time we both have a great love for the Yankees She will be missed b so many. My prayers go out to her family, hold on to your memories and keep them tucked in your heart there she will always be.

Joyce was indeed one of the kindest, most compassionate people that I know, and I am proud to say that we were "spirit sisters", often commiserating on the joys and woes of mother-grandmotherhood, In a note that she wrote me,just this past Friday, she said how thankful she was to have good friends that she knew were always there for her.
The world is a better place, we are better people and our patients have been better served because of this wonderful lady. RIP, my friend.

Andrea and Linda - I am so sorry for your loss. Joyce was an amazing woman. I miss her voice already. She was passionate about SO many things - world politics, social justice, and the New York Yankees to name a few. She would take the shirt off her back for someone in need. She was a great storyteller. I loved hearing stories about her bow tie wearing, Science teacher dad, stories about her childhood, and stories about her True Love, Jerry.
Linda - she was always so happy after she visited with you - I feel as though I know you through her stories. Andrea - she loved you and worried about you so much. Love and prayers to you both and to your families.

Joyce never missed an opportunity to help others. She gave 200% at work. Although we didn't hangout outside of work, I call her my friend. My deepest sympathy and prayers in this dark time.
