Dear Laura,
Many caring thoughts and prayers go out to you and all your family. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a beautiful and talented woman. I particularly loved her sense of humor.
One year at St. Mary's School, she came many times to share her passion and give us great art lessons. The best part for me was hearing her stories...especially the one about how she met your dad. We all just loved her!
Take good care and know that your mom's still with you, just in a different way.

Laura, Wally, Lisa and Glen; I am so saddened by the loss of your beatiful mother and wife, Alba. I will always treasure the brief times I spent with her both in person and on the phone. She was a delightful woman who lit up the room when she walked in, and encouraged those in her presence. Laura, I have known her through your eyes, and how much you treasured and loved her. I am praying for your family during this difficult time as you grieve her loss while recalling sweet memories.I will miss her. Love you all. Valorie

Scott family - I just learned this morning of Alba's passing, and wanted you to know that I am thinking about all of you. I believe the first time I her, she made me unload the groceries from her car and shuck peas for dinner! She was a wonderful lady and touched many lives. She will be missed.
Warmly, Bill Hugo

My thoughts and prayers to all of you at this sad time. The love and support of a mother can never be replaced, but I hope you find some solace in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. I will forever be thankful for the years of laughter and joy that I was able to share with Alba. She embraced me into her family the moment we met and I have always been impressed by her soul and her heart. The world is a much better place because of the many lives that she touched and how she showed us all the true meaning of grace. And we are blessed to carry her spirit in our hearts forever.

I have known Alba for many years. Our time together goes back to the late 70's when we served on the KAC Board together . We also had great fun in the planning of several Art Fairs and later on would talk at church. Even though we did not see each other socially, we were friends. She always had a ready smile and we laughed alot when we saw each other. S,he will be missed as she touched my heart.
