Grace Soltes, 96, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at Lutheran Care in Clinton.
She was born Grace Novek on October 25, 1917 in Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada. Grace was the daughter of Israel Novek and Dame Rose Atlas. Grace and Aaron Soltes married in New York City on September 1, 1940. Grace became a naturalized citizen of the US. She and Aaron lived in New York City and then moved to the Boston area in Massachusetts where they raised their family. Aaron was deceased on May 9, 1990.
Grace is survived by her daughter Rosalind Diamond of Utica, NY and her son Elan Soltes of Los Angeles, CA. Grace has three grandchildren, Jessie Drinkwine, Alexander Soltes and Julian Soltes. She also has two great grandchildren, Emma and Charlie Drinkwine.
Private services will be held for the family.
