Obituary of Margaret M. Rabbia

Margaret M. "Peggy" Rabbia, 85, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 in Naples, FL.
Peggy was born in Utica on November 7, 1928, a daughter of Albert J. and Eva (Lewis) Moda. In 1953 she was united in marriage to Louis Rabbia, a devoted union of 50 years until his passing in 2003. The couple made their home in Clark Mills, where they raised their family. They wintered in Florida and Peggy moved to Bonita Springs, FL in 2004 after Lou's death. She retired from Oneida Silversmiths and was a member of Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills and St. Leo's Church in Bonita Springs, FL. Peggy led a wonderful life that was full of joyful times spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter and two sons and their spouses, Pamela Kuehn of Naples, FL, Lou and Sarah "Sally" Rabbia of Baldwinsville and Michael and Pamela Rabbia of Loudonville; five grandchildren, John Rabbia and his partner Michael Richman, Mark Rabbia, Kristin and Michael Platt, Brianne and Patrick Noonan and Christina and Timothy Dillon; two great-grandchildren, Jayden Platt and Olive Noonan; and her sister-in-law, Lila Moda; she also leaves behind her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Tom & Bea Rabbia, and Al Dellaera and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joe Moda; two sisters, Doris Shepherd and Hazel Lewis; and son-in-law, Kirk Kuehn: brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sam & Fran Rabbia, Millie and Bob Newman, Gloria Dellaera and Joe and Mel Rabbia
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, August 7, 2014 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. All are invited to call Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
