Obituary of Leeann King

Leeann King, age 42, passed into gods loving arms in the early morning hours on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Born, Leeann Stevens - Moynihan, on September 30, 1971, she was born and raised in Utica, New York. Leeann developed a love for writing and reading poetry in her early teenage years that continued until her death. She also loved to draw and would sing along with any kind of music. She was a major video gamer, she especially loved Black Ops II. Leeann loved to take pictures especially of her children and the clouds, then would spend time making scrapbooks of her favorite things. She spoke often of her greatest childhood memories of summers she spent at her Great Grandmothers, Lillian Stevens, farm in Orwell, N.Y. She was joined in marriage to John King Sr. on August 23, 2006 in Utica, N.Y. Leeann is survived by her loving children Samantha Reeves, 21, Michael Reeves, 19, John King Jr., 6, all of Utica, N.Y. Her caring husband John King Sr., 34, of Sauquoit, N.Y.. Her mother Janice Moynihan, 62, of Utica, N.Y., Her brother William Jenkins, 40, of Buffalo, N.Y., 2 half - brothers Steven & Robert Moynihan, 1 half - sister Julie Moynihan, all of Utica, N.Y. Leeann is also survived by two very special family members Julie Quinn, 25, of Utica, N.Y. and Josh Jenkins, 20, of Buffalo, N.Y. and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Leeann is predeceased by her father Burt Moynihan Sr. in 1998 and 2 half - brothers Burt Moynihan Jr. and William Moynihan all of Utica, N.Y. A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton, NY.
