Obituary of Marilyn A Satterlee

Marilyn A. Satterlee, 76, of Schenectady passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Ellis Hospital with her family by her side. Marilyn was born on January 22, 1938 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late Edgar and Lillian (Evans) Thomas. She grew up in New York Mills and was a graduate of New York Mills High School. On June 7, 1958 she married William D. Satterlee Sr., at the New York Mills Presbyterian Church; the couple has since spent 56 wonderful years together. She is predeceased by two daughters, Joanne and Cynthia Satterlee and three sisters, Dorothy Raymond, ThelmaVanOrden and Lillian Ciccone. She is survived by her husband, William D. Satterlee Sr.; two sons, Thomas Satterlee of Schenectady and William and Alberta Satterlee Jr. of Schenectady; a daughter, Beth and Jim Mugits of Delanson, NY; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. All are invited to call Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 5-7pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Following calling hours a funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home at 7pm. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery in the spring.
