Kenneth "Pete" Green Whitesboro Kenneth Green, 68, of Whitesboro, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born the son, of the late Kenneth and Grace Brown Green Sr., on February 2, 1941 in Canandaigua, NY. Kenneth was educated in Westmoreland Schools. He married Joan Barron on October 14, 1960 at St. James Episcopal Church, Clinton. Kenneth was a machine operator at Kelsey Hayes in Whitesboro. He was an avid hunter and fisher. Kenneth also loved to attend the horse races at any track. He is survived by his wife, Joan; six children and their spouses, Cindy Curtis, of FL, Douglas and Elizabeth Green, of Westmoreland, Michelle and Patrick Crane, of Clark Mills, Susan and Richard Schaller and Darlene Kukowski, all of Westmoreland, and Barbara and Michael Salmon, of Taberg; four sisters; three brothers; thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; relatives, and friends. Kenneth was predeceased in death by three sons, George, Richard, and Andrew Green; one daughter, Audrey Green; and four brothers. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 2:00PM at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, 35 College St., Clinton, NY, 13323. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 1:00PM until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made to COVAC, Box 399, Clark Mills, NY, 13321 or the Rescue Mission, 901 Park Ave, Utica, NY, 13501, in Kenneth's memory. A special thank you is extended to Deborah Brockway of St. Elizabeth's homecare.
