Obituary of Sherrie A Nichols

Sherrie A. Nichols Clayville Sherrie A. Nichols, 40, of Clayville, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, after a long illness. She was born September 24, 1968 in South Hampton, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Helen Peterson Harrison. She graduated from West Winfield High School. Sherrie was employed at Centrex Clinical Laboratories Inc. in the human resources department. She was united in marriage to Russell L. Nichols on February 27, 1999 in Sauquoit. She is survived by her husband, Russ; three sons, Jeremey and Jesse Christian and Cody Nichols, all of Clayville; her parents of Frankfort, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Pat and Terry Vail, of Frankfort and Diane Couch of East Quogue, NY, her father and mother-in-law, Mike and Mary-Anne Gaffney of Sauquoit, and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 4-7pm at the Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton, in Sherrie's memory. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Sherrie. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Butala, Michelle, and staff for the excellent care provided; and Centrex Clinical Laboratories and McCraith Beverages, along with Russ and Sherrie's friends and neighbors for all their support and kindness.
