Obituary of Dorcas A. Roberts

Dorcas A. "Dee" Roberts, 75, of New Hartford, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Bethany Gardens Nursing Home. She was born February 18, 1933 in Little Falls, a daughter of Harvey and Constance Burdick. She graduated from Madison Central School and held various jobs including the Federal Reserve Bank, real estate sales and Utica District Telephone Federal Employees Credit Union. On June 30, 1990, she was married to Kenneth Roberts in Utica, until his death in September 2002. Dee enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening and spending time with her dog "Chief". She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Garden Club. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Henry Klis of Ava; her nephew Mark and Monica Klis of Westmoreland and their children, Hunter, Dillon and Jacob; and her special friend Nicole Kneedham. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday, July 6, 2009 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Friends are invited to call Monday from 1pm - 2pm.
