Obituary of Alesia Ann Bona

Alesia Ann Bona Clinton, Formerly of Utica Alesia Ann Bona, 29, of Clinton and formerly of Utica, has gone home to be with the angels on Friday, June 26, 2009 after an eleven year courageous battle with Schleraderma. Alesia was born the daughter of Mary Ann Napierkowski Hervey and the late Robert Bona on July 26, 1979 in Utica. She was educated in Proctor Schools. Alesia was an associate of McDonalds in Los Angeles, CA. She also was the president of the Red Hat Society of the Lutheran Home. Alesia was a loving and caring young lady whom always thought of others. Alesia is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Hervey, of Utica; a son, Mark Anthony Bona, of Utica; a sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Sammy Madison, of Houston, TX; two brothers, Bradley Napierkowski and Ronnie Hervey both of Utica; a paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Bona, of Utica; a maternal grandmother, Norma Madaras, of Bridgewater; a great grandmother, Beverly Irving, of Utica, three aunts and their spouses, Ann Marie Napierkowski and Lou Testa, Alesia and Mike Hazeltine, all of Utica, and Brenda and Frank Leo of Surfside Beach, S.C.; and many relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Mark Anthony Hervey. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 2:00PM, at the Lutheran Home Chapel, Clinton. Relatives and friends may visit from 1-2PM on Thursday, July 2, 2009 until the time of the service. Interment will be held at New Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413 or to the Schleroderma Foundation of Tri-State Inc., 59 Front St., Binghamton, NY, 13905. A special thank you goes out to the staff of the Saul unit of the Lutheran Home and also to Hospice with a special recognition to Heidi whom Alesia loved deeply.
