Irene A. Hutchinson, 99, formerly of Westmoreland and Vernon Center, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Wuesthoff Hospice in Rockledge, Florida.She was born January 13, 1910, in Harpersfield, NY, a daughter of Fred and Amy Miller Gregory. She was married to Lawrence Hutchinson who died December 15, 1987. Irene worked at the Rome State School for many years. She was a member of the Westmoreland Methodist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Mary Duff and her friend Jim Kitchen of Cocoa, FL; seven grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Ann Olson, her sister Hazel Simmons and two brothers, Ralph Gregory and Ira Gregory.Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Vernon Center Cemetery.
