Mrs. Lucille (Senior) Jones, 68, of Westmoreland, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at her home surrounded by her beloved family after a long illness.
She was born in Westmoreland on July 27, 1940, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Bergen) Senior and was educated in the Westmoreland Schools graduating in 1958. Lucille was employed by Univac for many years and retired from Westmoreland Central School. Lucille was united in marriage to John E. Jones on January 20, 1967 in the Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills and shared 42 years with her best friend.
Surviving besides her husband John; two daughters and three sons, Joan Jones, Tribes Hill, NY, William and Carrie Jones of Deerfield, Dave and Jean Schram of Westmoreland, Robert Jones and Rebecca Kimball of Westmoreland and Joseph Jones of Westmoreland; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Hannah, Mitchell, Lucas, Trevor, Rachael and Riley. Also surviving are her special sisters, Vivian Shanley of Westmoreland and Jane Bartell of Vernon; brother Walter Senior of Westmoreland; sister-in-law, June Senior of Vernon; brother-in-law, Don Perrault of Clark Mills and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by her sister Joan Perrault and brothers William and John Senior.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 at 10:15 from Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton and 11am at Church of Annunciation, Clark Mills, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends are invited to call Friday from 9am - 10am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery.

Lucille's family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Irene, Kathy, Dawn and Roseanne for their care and compassion throughout Lucille's long illness. Heartfelt gratitude to John, her husband and Joseph, her son for their devoted care which allowed her to remain at home, the place she wanted to be.
